BOAT CONSTRUCTION

Hull, deck, structural bulkheads and structural members of hull and deck are built in epoxy/vinyl ester resin and hybrid, carbon and glass fibres laminate with high-performance PVC core, using vacuum infusion lamination process

Forepeak and aft bulkhead are watertight. The space in front of the forward bulkhead below the anchor well is filled with closed-cell PU or Epoxy foam, creating a watertight crash box.

KEEL, RUDDERS & STEERING SYSTEM

A hydrodynamically optimised cast iron fin and low-drag lead bulb

The keel plate is bolted to the hull with 12 high-tensile stainless-steel bolts with stiff backing plates

Twin (2) spade rudders are a high ratio air foil section in glass/vinyl ester laminate with stainless steel rudder stock

Jefa mechanical steering system w/ Carbonautica three-spoke wheels
